Pay Per Click Year-End Review Includes Employees

Terry Boddie, Agency Liaison Director, Marketing Media ManagementGuest Blog post by Terry Boddie, Agency Liaison Director at Marketing Media Management

A business’s year end review works to evaluate every part of the business in order to see where improvement can be made.  Whether a business uses Pay Per Click or a storefront it is still essential to perform a review.  Looking at finances and performance of the company is often done, but analyzing the employees is often overlooked.

In order to achieve your goals, you must have the right people on your side.  Your employees should know what you expect of them, as lack of communication in this area helps no one.  Training is vital and you should have a training program available for your employees.  You might not need to hire new employees, but rather properly train the ones you already have.  Communication with your employees will allow you to see the level of their motivation and ensure that they are satisfied with their job.

Throughout the year you should be thanking your employees for the job that they do for you. This is especially important because they are on the front lines and your success is directly associated with the relationship that they have built with your customers. Personally thanking your employees can be helpful, especially if you are unable to thank them with bonuses.  Many employers will have a company meal or a simple office party in order to show their appreciation. Whether Pay Per Click on the computer or a storefront,  it is important to realize that without your employees you would not have the success that you do. This is why it is so important to let them know they are a valued member of your team.
