How Do People Use Local SEO To Get Traffic?

The second way SEO is used involves location tracking that is performed by search engines. Search engines have the capabilities of tracking ISP numbers and determining where the search came from — it then automatically determines local search results. For example, when you go to Google and type in “Where to get a hot dog” if you are searching from a computer in Chicago, the provider will search within your area.
A large amount of the searches are being performed on mobile devices. Now, with the help of online marketing through local SEO, companies can make sure they show up at the top of the page when someone is nearby. For example, instead of showing search results for hot dogs near a hotel someone may have searched on a computer, the results are going to show where they are walking.
